Question:
so, i'm pretty much set on getting a sterlingwear authentic this winter, but seeing conflicting pictures of the color of the grey is making me a little iffy about it. i'd buy the black one, but i already have a schott in black. how accurate is their color selection picture?
Answer:
I'm not sure how accurate their color selection picture is, but my opinion is that any shade of grey will be more versatile than the red or burgundy.
Answer:
If you do a forum search for Sterlingwear, you will find some pictures of the grey one being worn. It looks awesome. I just ordered a black peacoat though, because any coulours aside from black are a custom order and can take several weeks to arrive (I heard the waiting period now is around 40 days).
Answer:
indeed, yeah i saw a few of the pictures, like brian SD and i forgot the other person, and brian sd's look great, but the picture also looked a little dark so i couldn't tell how dark the grey would be in "real life." i'll probably just order it anyway. haha
Answer:
The grey in that photo you posted is pretty much true to life. My photo came out a little bit darker than how it actually looks in person.
Answer:
I'd say mine is a tad darker compared to the picture in your post. I could take some pics if you want.
Answer:
By the way, if you decide to go with the black one, they have them for 110$ at
www.vtarmynavy.com . Shipping is reasonable too.
Answer:
Where can you get the dark gray one at?
Answer:
I haven't seen the grey one available anywhere except for
www.sterlingwear.com , the manufacturer's website.
