Question:
To reduce congestion in the EG thread, here's Daiki's side project, Woolrich Woolen Mills, FW07 edition.
Current US stockists = Bergdorf Goodman.
Future US stockists = Bergdorf Goodman, Gary Drinkwater's, and hopefully more.

Answer:
That Chester Coat looks great. What is the price range on those at BG?
Answer:
The red plaid coat was featured in a men.style spread a while ago, said ~$800 at BG.
Answer:
This coat is
still on yoox in size L, with some other woolrich stuff I suspect/hope is mostly pre-Daiki.
Answer:
Is there a lookbook available online? I can't seem to find anything.
Answer:
Who's gonna buy this stuff at these prices?
Answer:
I would, if it was more easily available. :violin:
Answer:
You'd pay $1000 for this?
Answer:
Some of my favorite thrifted items are Woolrich... cool to see them bring the brand back.
Answer:
Woolrich--a working class brand restructured as something that sells $800 jackets to hipsters.
Answer:
For the Chester coat? Yes. That plaid coat shown above? No.
The Chester coat is so far the most expensive piece it looks like, most of the other coats like the Maine Guide Jacket only comes out to a more modest $600.
Answer:
I saw a RL Polo plaid jacket at Bloomingdale's SoHo recently very similar to the Yoox one pictured above. It was over $700 and made in China. Woolen Mills may be a little overpriced, but it's not completely out of line with it's peers.
Answer:
Why is the Engineered Garments Field Jacket and Mountain Parka between 65,000-68,000 in Japan but no more than $460 here? Doesn't it make sense to anticipate lower prices for Woolrich, distributed and sold here in the States? Oh, but I guess I'm missing the point that Woolrich is not within Nepenthes.
Answer:
I think prices will be somewhat cheaper here, where in Japan there's usually a higher markup.
Answer:
Prices in Japan are typically 20% higher than in North America, across the board, Japan specific brands (like the denim brands sold at Selfedge and Blue in Green) excepted, of course.
