I was checking out a new wash of Diesel jeans (see the 3rd picture) and I really liked the shoes amazon was using in their Diesel jean photoshoot -- you can see a few of their shots, it's all the same shoe.
I thought they mighta been converse at first, but it didn't seem like it -- came here hoping someone could direct me in the right way; I intend to buy those shoes!

The shoes looked like Varvatos Converse from the front, but the back looks different. So, I'm not sure... They do remind me of the wide-wale corduroy Varvatos-designed Converse though.

Yea, they look like converse from the front -- but nothing on the converse site (including custom designs) matches it, specifically the checkers on the back. :confused:
