Question:
desert trek
wallabee
desert boots
Answer:
Ok, well, of the posted picture------the felt desert boot is far and away the nicest  But for standard Clarks, I find the desert trek the easiest to wear, and the most comfortable, and versatile. Sometimes I even wear them like clogs around the house, crushing down the back part of the shoe under my heel. The DB can be a bit tight across the top of the foot for me and you can't just pull it on without unlacing like you can the DT. The Wallabee is comfortable, but leaves you susceptible to ankle roll-----a real danger for Wallie n00bs.
Answer:
I voted wallies, even though I've never owned one. What is this ankle roll that folks keep talking about? Should I even bother getting one now (wallies, not the ankle roll)?
Answer:
The crepe sole on Wallies is pretty high and the way the shoe is shaped... I lack the vocabulary. It's like walking on the spine of a VHS tape.
Definitely worth a shot. Once you are used to it, Wallies are supremely comfortable-----probably the most comfortable Clarks shoes.
Answer:
The sand wallabee w/ stf 501s and a Fred Perry polo was my standard uniform for years. Still a classic look.
