Thinking about buying these as a pair of beaters to wear with jeans and a T or polo. I'm very close to buying them, but would like your thoughts.
Is their a slip on that's nicer but in the same price range? (under $30 on ebay)
Are slip ons even "cool" for someone who is 20?

Just get a pair of black or white Vans slip-ons. They look a lot more mature and sophisticated than patterned ones. That's kind of important considering slip-ons give off a really boyish vibe IMO.

I think a nice looking madras pattern can work with slip ons if the rest of your outfit works with it. The ones from Sperry are pretty nice.

I don't personally like those more than plain slip ones. Is it a brand name thing where you like people to know what you're wearing? Some people do and some people don't. I personally prefer something with a cleaner look or a nice pattern that isn't a brand reference.

I don't like the coloring on those but I sport a pair in white/white canvas.
