Hello all, i have a pair of unworn selvage jeans. They are just a pair of Gap Gough. I got a while back.. anyways, I wanted to dye them to a black / charcoal color.
does anyone have any expeirence with this, or can give me some tips, maybe what kind of dye, etc.....
I would appreciate the feedback.

As for dyeing them black, your much better off buying a pair of black jeans. The dye won't do any good.

How come? I overdyed a pair of RRLs using black Rit dye a few months ago. I haven't worn them a whole lot since then, but the little wear they've developed-- indigo showing through the black dye-- looks pretty cool. I think they could actually turn out really well if I wore them more regularly.

well the jeans are gap, they are nothing special, i got them for like 10 bucks or so, so i got a couple of pairs.
they are pretty dark, but i want some more blackness into them.
