Question:
I have a pair of SDA 103's, my roommate has a pair of APC New Standards and my suitmate has a pair of Samurai 5000VX's- we're having a contest to see who can break their pair in the best. What should the rules be and how do we decide who wins? It seems like it's too subjective. Does anyone have an unfair advantage over the others?

I haven't even met anyone else on this campus who knows what raw denim even is.

It concept of unwashed denim is quite known here, esspecially among the Nike boys and their STF's. No one with knowledge of expensive here approved denim though.

+1. Set a distant date and then take pictures of everything and post them. The denimheads will decide a winner based on most beautiful fade.

I got my SDA's and they were met with much mocking and premature confusion (probably because they were so "tight" in the beginning and different). Over about a week I was able to totally convert them away from all washed denim to the point that they feel really uncomfortable in the jeans they've had for a few months from Abercrombie and the Gap. They recognize and respect quality now, and this is why we're doing it together. The one with the Sam's is a fanatic biker, so I'm most worried about him. I don't know how to post pictures like the waywn thread (please don't attack me), but in the median these are my SDA's after about 2 weeks of wear.

I have three files for each of us and folders within those that say "week 0" "week 1" "week 2" etc with collages of each. Any rules or regularions we should abide by? Anyone know a date that would be good? Maybe a year from now or something?
