Zara project chelseas

Question:
Zara is blowing out their footwear, and is selling some $150 chelsea boots for $30-50. I picked up a pair of brown ones for $39 that were a kind of uninspiring light brown, and wanted to see what some antiquing would do. They appear to be calf leather and stitched rather than glued, from what I can see. They took the shoe cream quite well (light brown, then a little cordovan for antiquing) and seem to look quite nice to my eye. I figured they might be good for clubs and the like since they weren't very expensive and are quite an elongated and sleek last. Here are some pics.
The detail pics of the shoes aren't very good because they're a bit reflective to use flash and don't show up very well under the lighting in my house, I'll try to take some pics in natural daylight tommorow.
Answer:
Nice work drizz, I think you have exactly the right idea for them. No need to wear those Mantellassis where they may end up antiqued by a Coors Light.
Answer:
I couldn't say no to those for $39. Nice score.
Answer:
I stopped by the Zara here in CR today and while they did have those chelseas for about $40, they had them in absurdly small sizes.
I was forced to buy other heavily-discounted clothes instead.
