One-wash baggy-semi-baggy Japanese denim

Question:
So, I'm not looking for a dry..
I really like the look of the SC Edos, nice details.. to give an idea.. but they're dry. <grump>
Any other recommendations?
Answer:
why does it matter if they are raw denim or that they are one wash? they are virtually the same thing, except you don't have to bother soaking your jeans if they are one wash.
Answer:
Yeah i agree, you're limiting yourself when you want a one wash. The only advantage to one wash is not having to figure out the sizing.
Answer:
Denime XX
Eternal x Bears Kuma
Studio D'artisan SD-x02
countless others. Do some research, dude.
Answer:
Used incorrect terminology - I wanted a pre-washed?, not one-washed.. as in I don't want to break these in, want them pre-distressed.
There are so many brands, so many cuts, so many choices. I asked for guidance because I'd appreciate the assistance. I wasn't sure where to start for research, short of reading the Japanese denim thread, which I have done a bit of.. but thanks, dude.
Answer:
then that shrinks your options considerably. Few Japanese brands offer distressed jeans. Browse rakuten.co.jp/hinoya and rakuten.co.jp/bears and see if there's anything that meets your criteria.
Answer:
Thanks - had I known about the quality of Japanese denim prior to buying 2 pairs of raw this year.. which will take me approximately 2 years to break in, I woulda gone with the SC Edos.
Answer:
Sugarcane is one of the few brands that do distressed jeans, and their washes look pretty good. The '47 cut is not baggy, or even semi-baggy, but it certainly isn't slim either. That might be your best choice.
Answer:
There are a few distressed Sugarcane styles on hinoya, as minya says.
Answer:
I think BIG has some pre-distressed Warehouse jeans that people said looked good.
Answer:
oh yeah. Those will definitely be on the baggy side, as they're mostly pre-war reproductions.
Answer:
It's probably a sin that I'm considering the Edos just to distress them myself...............
Damnit.
Answer:
Eternal do distressed denim, but they are mostly in really scary washes. Not sure they'll be your cup of tea.
Answer:
How about a pair of distressed Sorahiko's?
Answer:
I don't think Sorahiko's will be roomy enough, based on kronik's earlier info.
