I didn't join any club in college.

when you get to college, the first year or two is typically about socializing (join a frat/sorority) since the classes should be easier the first year and you should have more free time to afford to have fun and while you still don't know jack squat about your major. but your middle to later years (when you get into the upper division classes) should be about building professionalism through internships, co-ops, and networking through professional societies (though i started on that during my first year and barely had time to socialize because my major is freaking hard).
