Question:
What i meant by Mushy things is like emotional things.
whenever my sister sends me to school, she'll be like, 'bye! see ya later! love ya!' LOVE YA! brrrrr....
i just don't like that. i'm not the type to show emotions and stuff.
Example: like when you see a movie or whatever where some people say sorry and apologize and stuff like that, i just feel, ahem. too heartwarming.
in my family, we don't do that. if we get into a bad argument, we just ignore each other for a couple of hours and we're back to normal.
i guess i'm like this because of my family. We don't really connect and we don't show our emotions. Its like survival of the fittest.
So, what about you guys? Hate those heartwarming feelings?
Answer:
Ya, I don't see how these humans can show such strange emotions either.

I'm fine if it's with my boyfriend but not my family

Answer:
I can stand a bit, but not too much. I guess you can say I'm pretty dry...I don't really express my emotions drastically unless it's with people I'm very very comfortable with. Sometimes when watching mushy Korean dramas, I can't help but turn away from the screen and hope the scene ends faster. I think I got it from my family...we're not very touchy-feely; I've never hugged or kissed my family members before except that one time my mom was breaking down because my dad was in the emergency room.
Answer:
I agree with everyone up there^

That's pretty sad....
Answer:
I need/want to be and to recieve mushy things. They are just words in the end, but it's a lot of the meaning to it. And sometimes the illusion of meaning.. but still...

Boyfriend - Mushy love stuff = (IMG:style_images/1/folder_post_icons/icon12.gif)
Friends - No. Big fat no-no. It's awkward.
Family - I hate it when my family does it, it's just disgusting to me. When I was little I loved showing my emotion towards my family but now I just don't show any emotions. I even dislike talking to them. I love them but, there's limits o.o;
Answer:
i don't. my family's very loving & we love to show that we are. it's always been that way & that's how i was raised.
when a loved one is leaving the house, we give our hugs, kisses, & our 'i love you's. bad arguments always
end with apologies & talking/laughing it over. it's the same thing with my boyfriend, too.
Answer:
whenever i hear or see mushy stuff, it makes me feel awkward and uncomfortable.
