Mhmm, although I'm a shy person. If I do see anyone I'm interested in I'll just go and greet them right away and try to befriend them. I've made a few friends that way, just not close friends.
Ah it may seem a bit weird, but the whole time I just put a huge smile on my face and just think of it as having a good tme.

I was at pc bang getting my occasional dose of Counterstrike and this random guy comes up to me and says the classic: Hi my friend over there wants to know if you think i'm cute
instead of being disgusted like i usually am with pickup lines, i just started laughing
a week later i was at the mall and i saw him with a bunch of guys and my cousin and found out that they were friends
sooner or later we went out and he was my bf for like 6 months

Umm...yeah, I actually make new friends with random people...I would walk around around the college campus with my girls and if I think you're interesting...what the heck! I'll go up to them with a smile on my face and say hello.

YES!! I was in NYC and i met this girl.. she was WICKED NICE!!
and she let me stay over at her place.. And i did..

and i was SUPER DESPERATE..
Over all, i was glad i met her, she was wicked nice!! she and i stayed up
til like 4AM just talking about our lives.. She's a student..
We met at Madison Square Garden, when i was down there for the YG concert.
I was standing around in the back and she was there, she commented on my
belt, and i showed them the way into the concert.. Lols..
We still keep some sort of contact..

But most Asians in New York City are connected somehow...SOMEHOW they know someone who knows someone who knows you or the other way around.
I met this Chinese girl on the bus going home because our (different) schools just happened to go to this Broadway play the same day. She noticed my hoodie (its pretty out there) and we started talking.
Well I found out she lived down the block where I lived (we get off the same stop) - I never even saw her before.
After adding her on Facebook - I knew some of her friends.
Every Asian in NYC knows each other somehow!

one time I met this really nice British lady in San Francisco, she was a tourist and asked me directions, and told me where she's from , etc, but I felt shy about meeting a stranger on the streets, she wanted me to show her around town, but i told her I had to go.
