Has Anyone Here Read The Comic, Watchmen, By Alan Moore?

Question:
Hi! I'm currently studying this graphics novel in english and our teacher gave us this topic: How do Moore and Gibbons use the imagined history in Watchmen to comment on real events in 20th century America? I know that one of the real events that is mentioned in the book is definitely the Cold War, but can anyone elaborate on it and share their thoughts regarding this topic? I'd really appreciate it =)
Answer:
Waah ! your english teacher is so cool ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)
Studying Alan Moore, even if it's not his best comic IHMO, it's great. I wish I had studied comic during my scholarship.
I'll think about it, even if I mainly remind formal things (the palindromical chapter Fearful symmetry and stuff like that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/phew.gif) ).
When do you need to finish it ?
(you don't try to make us do your homework, don't you ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )
Edit : this site can help you
