Question:
I went to go get my new glasses today but when I tried them on my vision didn't seem right. I told my optometrist's assistant about this and she just laughed and told me to wait a week to see what happens. WTF? I see better with my old glasses than I do with my new glasses! And don't your eyes actaully get worse if you constantly wear wrong lenses? I'm definitely not going to wear my new glasses for a week to see what it's like when I don't even see correctly with it.
The last time I got glasses, they felt weird and uncomfrotable but they didn't blur my vision at all. However, these new glasses DO blur my right eye's vision.

Answer:
As you get older, your vision changes. Maybe yours has, and you need stronger lenses. The way to remedy that is how they suggested. But if you really feel that it's wrong...then go back.
Answer:
Maybe you should go to another optician to get a second opinion.
Answer:
uh oh...that's happening to me too! I thought it was going to take some time for me to adjust to my new glasses too but it's been 2 months now and I feel that I see better, more clearly in my old glasses
Answer:
definitely go back and demand a refund or to fix the problem, you paid for their services, you deserve to get what you paid for, if they made a mistake they should fix it.

They messed up my sister's eyes like that
Answer:
I advise you get it fixed now, or you'll get headaches and the like because you're straining your eyes.
