Question:
I created the Creationism Vs. Evolution thread and it was closed. Last year i created the same thread and it held out for a really long time with a couple hundred posts (i think).
Well why all of a sudden is this thread too controversial to be discussed? We have freedom of speech and it is a humans natural urge to argue. If it did upset some people im sorry but i am just curious, its not like i know you. There won't be some big religous war or something, just a few people answering a simple yet interesting question.
So why do you think it was closed?
Do you find this right?
If there was a logical reason as to why it was closed i will understand, but as i see it there is none.

I haven't actually seen your thread, but my guess is that ignorant people on soompi kept posting ignorant posts? I don't know, but I see that often on soompi. Sometimes people should just NOT post so others who have something important to input can have their say...
I do actually think it's right (if what I said up there is the case) but if it didn't have any bashing/spam, then I don't know why they took it off, and I wouldn't think it's right.

- If you want to know why your topic was closed, then look at the very last entry or the topic description and it should be an explanation of why the thread was closed

2. As soon as I saw the topic title, I knew this thread was bound to stir up some controversy and that some people would get defensive of their opinion.

4. If you really have a problem, appeal to one of the administrators.
