Isn't he like that in the book too? Charlie has the golden ticket and everything's chaos and he just runs out of the store with the ticket and no change..? That's what I read in the book.

LOL.This is so weird. I just watched it about an hour ago and noticed it too. He even had time to give Charlie change because when Charlie discovered the ticket, the guy was restocking his chocolate or something like that.
