not going to college right away isnt the end of the world.
i think you should first find a job and stay with friends/family until u have enough to move to NY (if that's what u really want to do)

You should save that ticket money for now. Find a friend or a relative that can help you until you can manage by yourself. It's 11:05 P.M. in Orange County right now so I'm hoping you found a place to stay. As for college that should wait until you know where you're going to stay and how you're going to pay for college.

DOn't worry, you'll be sitting at home in no time, nobody can last out of the house for that long, your parents would probably end up looking for you after a few days . that or you'll crawl back home after you've decided that it is almost impossible to live without them . haha?

you can rent one room in brooklyn for $350. Save up some money in Cali first. It's easier to work in a familiar area. Then apply to college, get accepted and move to NY.

jeez, a friend I know has a simliar problem.. After he graduated and he's 18, his parents kicked him out just for the heck of it. They want him to stand on his own two feet. He's a smart kid too.
