Grape Jello isn't very good.
If he didn't get a spoon from his mom, he wouldn't be missing out.
ROFL. I'm just kidding.

I find that racist... I don't understand how it's not. (from the replies)
The fake Chinese accent kept saying Chinese over and over again and had to mention how the spoon is a great Western invention, blah blah blah.
Small Chinese-type baby Chinese mother Bling Poor Chinese baby (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
That's pretty sad. Political correctness has been stressed a lot in the media lately, but racism still exists and will never die.
Answer:
i don't see what's so racist about the commercial. chinese people do eat with chopsticks. it's like one of things we are known for. is it such an insult that they pointed out that we used chopsticks? that's like the rest of the world getting mad if we showed some white guy trying to eat fish that has a lot of bones with a fork. it's just not a smart thing to do. that's what chopsticks are good for. eating fish with all those bones, you can pick out the bones and everything. i agree that chopsticks and jello do not go well together.

Didn't you notice the fake Chinese accent and how he kept saying Chinese over and over again? The chopsticks aren't the concern... So would you still say it's not racist? Maybe not exactly racist, but stereotypical?
Answer:
Eating jello with a chopstick is harder than with a spoon.
Answer:
I find that kind of funny. Although his accent irritated me somewhat, I find that commercial more stereotypical than racist. But think about it, this was made in the 1950's. People were not too open-minded about multiculturalism back then.

=X
lol. i never thought of that.
that commerical was boring. i don't even know why it was even aired. there didn't seem to be a point. except having a chinese baby eating jello. Are they trying to make a statement saying that even asians/baby should eat this?
weird... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
