Need To Call In Sick For Work

Question:
bubble guts... its something everyone can relate to...
Answer:
ionno i just say I`m sick and then hang up:) or call one
of my friends at work and have them say to bossman I`m sick
Answer:
what everyone else said, just say that you're sick.
dont make it tooo elaborate cuz it'll exaggerate and you'll be caught easily. my teachers back in high school were so annoyed when parents wrote notes to excuse their students with such decorated words to say that they were extremely sick or Horrifyingly ill or whatever. just say that you're sick [migraine, food poisoning, etc] and you'll do fine.
otherwise, go for the my cat died thing oo;;
i know people who went with that and actually got away with it. and i'm like wtf x___X;;
Answer:
usually just being sick works... or since i'm still in High school, i say i have ALOT of work to do (But i call in like 1 day before)
Answer:
Whenever i calle din sick i said I wasnt feeling well, if i was asked why i said i had diarhea or food poisoning.
Answer:
well if u're a girl... u can always call in for menstrual cramps lol
i did that before. and i just say it's so bad i can't walk, needless to say, work!
they let me off anyway
Answer:
you have a bad cold. *cough*cough*
Answer:
well in my workplace u don't have to tell them why..i think it's something abt privacy..supposedly my boss is not suppose to ask why because i already said im sick-n it's not like they can force u to come to work if they think u r lying...
Answer:

It'll work.

I don't think bosses SHOULD ask too much about an employee's health =/

ahh that sucks for u..my workplace can't do that since i work in a popular retail store-things can get really technical at work..my bosses would just say ok even though we barely have any ppl working...they know that most of the employees know the policy of not having to tell them what kind of sickness they have..
and it's really a bad idea to have someone call for u..this is not a school when ur mom or dad calls for u unless u can't speak or u r dying..
i remember i have coworkers (husband and wife)..wife called for husband saying that he's in the ER and can't make it to work..husband calls an hour later n tells work that he is only going to be 30 mins late coz he had to fix something in the base (he's in the marines)...well now they got in trouble..
Answer:
I just say I have a family emergency and need to go out of town. Usually my boss doesn't ask b/c it's not his business what the emergency is anyway. So just say you have a family emergency and if he asks what it is, just say it's private. And yes, it's a pretty effective excuse as long as you don't overuse it.
Answer:
i always said: family emergency and...oh yeah.. I just tell my manager I can't work, because I'm unavailable.
Answer:
Before I quit wendies, I had to tell them I had a funeral to go to, just so I could miss work and go to the night market one night.
it works, trust me...especially if you show them a pic of your grandparents..
