how do you keep yourself cool when there is no bathroom around to wash your face or something?
i'm leaving for china soon and i know i'm going to die under that sun.. it's like 10 - 15 degrees higher than what i'm normally used to T______T

I usually just stay in an airconditioned area. like... stay in a store for a long time. but that's when I'm in Korea. and I'm guessing Korea and China have similar temperatures, right? I never left my relative's home lol. too hot/humid for me to handle.

I just got back from China yesterday. I think visors are ugly so I brought an umbrella. Its fashionable and keeps you in portable shade. You can always buy one over there for cheap instead of bringing one. I bought mine for 20 RMB. Thats like $$ 2.40 USD ? Other than that, you might want to carry a mini fan (the kind thats powered with batteries) and hang it around your neck for some wind. Bear in mind that when you step into stores, it will be like stepping from hell into the north pole so bring a light covering/sweater if you're going to be in shopping malls most of the time. Drink lots of fluids and wear deodorant. HAVE FUN !
