im doing a research in my sociology class about 'why students fail?'.
can you guys give me acceptable reasons why students, like us, faiL? aside from;
-the subject is too hard
-stress (?)
-cramming (? okay, i've heard from people that it isn't effective afterall)
-laziness (LOLs)

skipping and cutting classes...my reason for failing couple of classes here and there.

i dno .. it jst depends on da student .. like i get jealous at ppl who study less but get heaps good marks , while i study mroe and dont get the mark im looking for ward to .. and i think cramming is not one of em, coz my frend crams all the time she studies the period before the test or for 20 mins in roll call and she gets like the highest mark .. =.= so i rekon its jst laziness ! hehehe i dno it depends on the student

1- i dint study or did homework for his class.
i said to my self i already took this class in 7th grade! i dont need to take it again! i know this stuff.. i was wrong i should have studied more. instead of studing i would be online and not focusing on my work. =T
2- i sat away from the board were he put the notes.
instead of taking notes i would play around with my pen cap and stare out the window.. and not pay attention. when we did class work i skipped it and coped someone else to catch up... but i didnt learn anything.. TT_TT
3-i wasnt interested in the subject.
math is boring to me. i hate it. its complicated and when you fall behind its hard to catch up beacase teaches go at a fast pace. and i was lost most the time ....
i started to do way better and improve in alot of stuff when i sat right next to the board and pay attention. i accualy got what he was talking about and that incouranged me to do my homeowrk and study my notes and go after school for help (the guy i like went to get help after school all the time so we would go together;; that encouraged me tooo ^^ ) so i think that it has to do with staying alert in class and accually doing the work.
