I have the US Helio but I can type in Korean.
The only difference between the two versions is that the Korean version has both hangul and english on the keypads.
Actually that's not the only difference. It's way better to get the korean helio because it has a lot more options....like the english one with myspace, you can do cyworld on it and stuff. You can also download korean music and ringtones. Don't worry though, you can still get all the stuff the english phone gets too.
That's why it's better.
