I am looking to buy a new router. With my roomate dl more crap out bandwidth is so horrible i get 300-1000 ping. We've been in constant battle where I would just go into his room and either disconnect his internet or turn off his computer. He's pissed at me for screwing his computer, and im pissed at him that i can't even visit a simple website. Is there a router out there that you can actually limit bandwidth per user?

if he download sth,he don't need to upload so much,naturally u haven't got so much upload.

With torrents in our house we've limited the up and down. however clubbox you cannot and thats whats causing the pain. For all i know, CLubbox has a dwnload cap however no upload limit. So I am looking for a router to do the work rather than wiring directly through another computer to limit the bandwidth.

So it comes down to you want a router with a QOS quality of service setting where you can set so that you give lower priority to clubbox.
All I can think of that supports that at the moment is the DDWRT and those modified firmwares for the wrt54gs.
