Answer:
Providers charge xx cents per KB + text msg; it varies but it does get stupid if you're not on the data plans and what not.
Answer:
$80?!
I don't know the exact price, but I'm sure it's nowhere near $80.
Answer:
That does sound hefty, I remember when my bro got his first cell phone and sent me a picture and it costs $5. I was like o_O not doing that again..
Answer:
._. wow
For me I know it costs $0.25 to send or recieve a picture message.
Answer:
DANG i thought it was only 25 cents...
Answer:
How big was the picture?
They charge by # of KBs sent/received.
For example, DOWNLOADING 2MB (without a net service plan) costed me $180.
A picture, if you take it straight out of the camera without cropping it or anything, should be approx. 250KB.
So.. $60-70 should seem right.

Why don't you just BUY the USB cable for your phone instead of sending it?

Luckily, T-Mobile is 25 cents per picture message.
Answer:
I remember reading somewhere that the price that you pay is actually different from what is written. (Verizon) Something about an extra zero stuck in there that doesn't calculate correctly.
