ok, so i've liked my best friend for the longest time. i've just never realized it until yesterday. i remember having a dream about us together in the 8th grade (im in 11th grade now) and i've known him since 4th grade. we do almost everything together and i know all of his little habits and hobbies and things like that.
lots of people have said that we'd make a great couple but we've always just brushed it away. i even went to winter formal with him, as friends. he is always resting his head on my shoulder. pretending to kiss me and resting his arm on my shoulder. does he like me? he told me he likes this other girl that is currently taken but still he likes her but everything he does always raises my hopes.
what should i do?

he might be a guy that is flirtatious by nature and is really close to his friends.. i know people like that.. you get all happy and think they like you but they might not think the same way..

uhh i would talk to him but then you wouldn't want the relationship to be awkward afterwards.. but then just be honest then.. it wouldn't hurt, atleast you'll be brave enough to tell someone you like him and wouldn't regret afterwards.. if he likes you too then it would be even better! if not you guys are still friends right?
