... and it is really quite beautiful. And no, I'm not talking The One or The love of my life and all that noise. She is considered my best friend to many, but that is purely an understatement. I truly feel as if our souls connect. Anyone can be there for someone else (oh, i love him/her because she/he is always there for me sound familiar?) and anyone can tell a person about anything, really. Those things are not considered special, guys. Human relationships have simply been generalized into something very mundane and insignificant; unholy, even. But for those who do have a soulmate, life is so fulfilling and promising, isn't it? I don't want to make this a pointless post, so let's finish off with something Oprah-esque:

So anyone here have a companion who you can basically not talk to for months and still feel like your relationship is off the hook?

I don't think I've quite experienced that type of relationship yet. There are certain intangible, unnamable things that my boyfriend offers me, but not exactly to the point where I'd call him my soulmate.
I'd love to be the romantic and hope for something divine, but I can settle for just plain content.

i have two! they're super awesome.
One of them calls me his best friend even though he's like an hour or so away &we barely see each other. we've known each other for like 4 years, but he moved after the first year. :[. We connect really well though. &even though we don't talk as much as we used to, we're still pretty damn close. The other one doesn't live that far away, but i barely get to see him too. I've known him for like 3 years &he moved after the second year. He's like a big brother to me in way.
Whenever we get together, we hang out like usual though. Just as if they never moved. It's awesome. :] I love them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
