Question:
So junior prom is coming up, and bids are on sale on Mon-Thurs.
Basically 4 boys asked me:
#1 asked me about 2 weeks ago, he liked me in December, and we're friends, but his personality is kind of dark and creepy. And during the time he liked me, he was crazy obsessed.
#2 i've started talking to more recently because he's my table partner in one class. he's a really sweet guy, and i wouldn't mind going with him.
#3 is one of my best guy friends; we're really comfortable with each other, and his #1 girl (a girl he likes) said no (she's a senior at another school and he doesn't know her very well). i think i would have the most fun with him.
#4 is kind of out of the question, because he's a senior, but he likes me and wanted me to ask him. we're friends, but yeah, i don't think i'll ask him to go with me.

the thing is, with the #1 guy, i said i would go with him if i could (i was planning to say i had a race for crew (rowing) so i wouldnt have to go). i think i'd rather go with #2/#3 (i feel like a b*tch for saying/thinking that).
so who do you think i should go with?

Well, if you are 'honorable', then you should stick with going with #1 if you already told him if you could. To do otherwise, but not be truthfully up front with him would only speak negatively about your character. Unless you have the kind of conscience where doing something like this just doesn't bug you that much.
The next best option would be to break it off with him in as early a manner as possible, and give #1 the honest reasons why you can't/won't go with him. He's at least owed that much.
Should you choose and be able to accomplish the latter, then I think you should go out with #2. Although #3 might have his appeal, I think ultimately - when you look back on your prom - you might appreciate the memory more knowing you weren't just the guy's 'second choice'. But it's your call, really.

Firstly, you shouldn't go with #3 just because he's your guy friend. OK! I get how you'll have more fun and you guys are comfortable and stuff _ But I think the thing is... if you go with him, don't you feel like a backup? The girl he likes rejected him so he's like Oh! Let's just ask my friend!
I wouldn't want to go with someone knowing I was second choice -__-'' unless THEY'RE MY second choice too LOL =P

For prom there are so many things you have to talk about like who to dance with, who to sit with and when you guys are just friends how do you know what's considered OK and NOT ok as dates?
