Question:
So this guy I'm dating (we're basically boyfriend and girlfriend but i dont want to mislabel the relationship...) asked me since he's going clubbing on Saturday with his friends and the weather is going to be low 30's that night if I would be jealous if he offered his jacket to another girl...
in my head I'm thinking Why would that make me jealous?.... so I said... I'm not the jealous type, but its different if I know the girl is interested...I know one of the girls he's going with is interested in him.... but even with that, i don't feel jealous... heck, its just a jacket, right?
I also added that it would be different if out of a giant group of guys, she singled him out to ask... but that still wouldn't make me jealous just (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) on her part. Knowing his character... it's just something he would do... (he's a total gentleman... actually I've never met any other guy with such good manners before...)
Is it weird that I feel no jealousy in this situation?... or most actually. He met this girl about the same time he met me, so if he were interested in her, he could have easily gone after her instead~ She's just probably closer to him in age... (I'm 19, he's 23). He tells me about these girls who are interested in him, or think he is cute also. Of course, not to make me jealous, but just to keep me in the light about what's going on. I basically tell him the same things though I haven't really had many guys chasing after me lately (just one) - and i don't mean to sound full of it but i go to a tech school so its majority guys so its not rare to find yourself with a mini-stalker. Heck, I'm not surprised he has these girls interested in him... he's a perfect gentleman, he's tall, he's chinese (its rare to find tall chinese guys around here... but the other girl is Vietnamese so i dont think this matters to her. haha), he cooks and bakes (and WELL! yum yum), he has a great sense of humor, etc.
I've had my experience with jealous guys though and they tend to be extremely insecure, needy, and clingy. I had to deal with one before.... never again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) and I've noticed a lot of younger kids get jealous easily... their boyfriend is talking to another girl so they have to rant about what to do because that girl is a sl*t... etc. (Of course not all situations are like this but Ive seen similar ones on soompi). Does it have to do with getting older and more mature that the jealousy is no longer a factor?
So what about you guys, are you the jealous type? or am I just weird?

i get jealous pretty easily but i can be understandable too depending on the situation. maybe you don't like him as much? or maybe you're a very tolerable understandble person. maybe it's a good thing but don't go too far otherwise he might think you don't like him!

Also I hate it when make believe scenarios are brought up. what do you mean if I offered my jacket to another girl? I would tell my man to stop trying to stir up drama and tell me about it afterwards if he actually does it. I guess ur guy just wants to keep u informed but seriously he can inform you after the day ends, no need to set up scenarios that haven't occurred.
and to answer ur jealousy question, I would only get jealous if I feel that either him or the girl is interested/attracted. My ex partied a lot more than me and for some reason I rarely felt jealous, I guess I trusted him. I think I got jealous more when I was actually there with him because if he left my side I would wonder where he went.

I think everyone is jealous whether they admit it or not. Im jealous when it comes to things WORTH to be jealous over. I wouldnt be jealous if before my ex would talk to another girl but if they were feely touchy then I would start getting irritated. Im a jealous person but I dont think I show it that much as some of my friends and sister would say.
