like some ppl just go straight up to u and be like do u have a bf/gf? r u single?
how do u feel towards those ppl?
sometimes i just thought u kno.. they're just trying to get to know u better so they'll have something to talk about u know...
but when it comes to the opposite sex asking tat... the asker and the person being asked... it seems like the asker finds u attractive.
and i find it funny tat when i work w/ a bunch of girls, none of the girls ever ask me tat? but when i work w/ a bunch of guys, i get these questions a lot? mayb guys r more open up than girls? and some guys are already in relationships or are dating someone...

from my experience, guys ask girls cuz they are interested, either out of curiosity or because they like them. im sure some girls ask other girls out of curiosity too but a lot of my friends do that to find out and see if they can hook their guy friend up with the girl

It really depends on how they say it. And how they send it. Body language, tone of voice, etc. Usually when guys ask girls that, it's because they likey ;D haha. And girls ask that to guys because they MIGHT likey and want to day dream and squirm off with their army of friends and talk about how he's single (or taken) and how that can affect you in a possible (or impossible) relationship with (or without) him.

ahhahahha...yeahl well of course wen its the opposite SEX....most of the time when a guy asks a gurl its basically becaues of personal interest..
BUT if a female ask a male..it can go both way most of the time, cause females sometime want to hook their gf up with that guy.

some may be interested some may just be curious. I tend to do that..sometimes I'm just really curious to find out if a guy is single or not. I kind of use it as a reference to see how good I am at detecting a guy's singleness.
