I wouldn't avoid a smoker, since I do hang out with some, but I could never date a smoker. The scent makes me feel a sick to my stomach. When I am with my boyfriend I wouldn't want to have to concentrate on keeping my lunch down the whole time. Not exactly what I look for in a relationship.

I hate the smell, and I can't help thinking what a stupid choice that guy made to get into smoking. Which, naturally, leads me to wonder what else he does. I have some friends that smoke, along with cousinds, etc. Friend-wise, I'm ok with it, but they never smoke around me simply b/c they know how irritated and disgusted I get seeing it all.
I prefer non-smokers. The guarantee of a longer and healthier life is just so much better. @_@
