Sorry, maybe it was the way i read your original question i just couldn't believe it's for serious. I mean, it's quite simple. If you are good looking and/or you have the right approach, then it doesn't matter what race you are. That's the bottom line.
Sure, there are racist people in this world but there are increasingly more open-minded people at the same time (I find this to be especially true in America and Canada). If you currently find yourself in a predicament with an asian girl, maybe you can provide more information about your particular situation. That way, maybe we can help determine your chances with that girl. If you are just asking for general information, then i think the answer is quite simple and obvious (even though reality may seem like the opposite at the moment).

To cite that asian girls might have certain preferences based solely on color - whether inherent or perceived by you - as an excuse not to consider non-asian guys is to overlook the fact that there's more than color that's taken into account --- as well as the plausible notion that all other women that aren't asian equally exercise their own measure of preferences too. In the end, what it all boils down to is that it doesn't matter what race anyone is. Perhaps a more pertinent question would be do I have a shot with any girl?
To sum it up, what I'm getting at is that your chances of 'hooking up' with an asian girl is pretty much the same with any other girl. Don't fool yourself into thinking that women wouldn't give you a chance based solely on your race or skin color. And it would be foolish to think that that was all that it was about if you happened to get rejected. Keep in mind, there are many more (and arguably more important) factors that gals consider.
