I have this friend. We're pretty good buddies. I've met his sister a few times and i think she's kinda cute and i wouldn't mind dating her. I don't know how she feels about me cause she's really shy.
the thing is, all guys know how perverted or how dirty other guys think, right? especially between guy friends. i mean, all those hours you spend talking bout girls and analyzing them. Is it kinda weird when a guy friend wants to date your sister? knowing all that?
I don't have a sister so I cant put myself in his shoes.
Also, they are korean. im chinese. i heard that koreans tend to like to date only other koreans. would her parents be unhappy with her dating a chinese guy?
i mean, i think im ok. im not a bum or a slacker. i have a well paid career. a car. i dont dress weird, etc.

well my friend knows me well and he knows all my bad sides too. not to mention the both of us have had personal discussions and conversations on sex and girls and all that. like all guys do.
and i think there's a bit of a cultural barrier as well. his family is very korean. i dont know how they'll like a chinese person dating their daughter/sister.

Instead of asking him straight out just ask him general question. So how you feel about friends dating your sister? Just make it so he doesn't know you are specifically asking him. You can just get his opinion of friends dating your siblings. So you know how he feels and so on.
You just have to be careful that if you do end up dating his sister. There is slight chance your friendship will get ruin when you guys break up.

If you were to ever do anything with the relation (aka. break up or what not) then tell him before so that he knows the reason so he understands and doesnt start punching your face really hard. Other than that, If you do realyl like her, I'm sure he'll notice one way or another anyway. But first you've got to ask yourself if you're seriuos about it ^^ a relationship with your friend's sister would be a real hassle.
