Question:
i don't like him .but i think he likes me .
or is he just doing things because i'm his friend's girlfriend that causes my misunderstandings
things that get me suspicious ..
-when my boyfriend and i don't have the same lunch period the lunch group was only my , him(sometimes he isn't there) and 3 of our other friends . and on the days that one of them don't have lunch because they have to go to laboratory , it's normally just me and the two friends of mine who spends the lunch time doing PDA . i feel awkward sitting in front of them and watching .. so on those days i don't go to lunch and i go to the library . once , it was one of those days and at the end of the day he saw me in the hallways and was surprised so he ask me 'i didn't see you at lunch . thought you weren't here' and i told him why and i was like ' cause you know .. yeah that's why and you're usually not there' and he was like 'i'll be there from now on' and i said ' seriously??' and he's like 'yeah i'll be there everyday now
and from then on he was there everyday , even on the days where all my friends are there and he didn't have to be there . and he talked to me everyday . we're all like friends and everything so we're used to laughing together and joking around . but he treats me differently . i mean they've been friends for a long time(so they joke around easily and i'm sort of new to the group but know a few of the members very closely) and i didn't meet him until that term and at the beginning he didn't speak to me at all . but one day he was chatting with me and we introduced ourselves to each other ... you see i'm the type that doesn't talk much to anyone unless they do it first . so from that day on everyday he was there .
once he came over and there was no seat availiable next to me , so he got(forced) my friend to move over so he could sit next to me . and the girl aka our friend was so pissed off and she was like to him 'WTF~ but he wasn't paying attention . he was chatting with me already
then he asked about me , my life and what i liked to do . and he found out i play tennis so he asked me to tennis and got my number during talking about tennis. he was going to go play tennis with me one on one . but i said it's not fun with only two people so from then on whenever he asks me out to tennis , he make sure he has more people coming along .
if we go out and my boyfriend's not around he'll pay for me while people tease us . like friends would say 'oh jonathan pay for me too' and he'd say 'pay for yourself'
once we were playing tennis with our group of friends and we went over to jen's house for dinner and i was quite comfortably seated on the couch watching my emily play on the computer and jonathan was sitting next to the window on a chair . he called my name across the room and ask me to sit with him cause he says it's more comfortable . he meant for me to sit on a half of the chair and he sit on the other half . and he asks 'you don't mind right?
when the food came out , he got everything for me before anyone else got to touch any of the food . and everyone was staring like 'what the hellll'
and people are always teasing him that he's hitting on me . and once his friend was like 'how did you meet him??' and i said 'during lunch' and then she's like 'oooooooooooo , i see . was he like- 'hey bonita(spanish word for beautitful) are you interested? ... jonathan's a playa ... well i hope not . don't believe him' and then she turned to jonathan and joked 'was that how you met her?? and he's like embarrassed and said 'none of your business .. don't believe her . she's making things up .'
basically everyone thinks he likes me and everything because once he burped by accident and he was embarrassed so he kept saying sorry to me . and everyone was looking directly at him then at me then at him and this girl(his friend) laughed out loud and he just covered his mouth really embarrassed and told her 'shut upppp~ what are you laughing at? why're you still laughing~~
he told me it was because i'm pretty when i was telling a story of how i beat 9 guys in a basketball game all by myself .
he's always taking care of me .
and then that same day i was leaving for home and i needed to take the subway to get home . he said he'll take me home . i thought he was only going to take me to the subway station but he took me to my door and on the way he saw i was cold and he put his jacket over me . before that he asked again 'you don't mind right? so then i was joking with him and i said thanks .. i don't mind . just don't sue me if you get sick on anything' and he's always smiling around me . he laughs at my every attempt to joke .. even when no one else is laughing .. cause ....... honestly .... my jokes are really corny . lol .. i laugh and make jokes of everything .
sometimes he aims me and talk about random topics ... and he asks me if i went to the botanic garden , the aquarium or etc etc .. and he goes on about it . and once he told me he doesnt think his grades are good enough . and i was like ' don't worry! you'll do fine! i believe in you!' ( i realize this was a big mistake a week later when he ask me to the beach and i ask him do you have confidence you passed?? and he said , you say you believe in me - of course!.... but .. i'm like that to everyone=.=)
lastly i set my phone on vibrate a few days ago and i couldn't answer his calls cause i was in a place where i'm not allowed to use cell phones and like 6 hourse later i call him back . and he said he he thought i wasn't picking up his calls on purpose . and i was like 'why would i?? do i look like that kind of person' . and he was like 'maybe i bother you a lot'i dunno how he got the idea , i mean i'm always acting happy around everyone including him and i tend to joke around with him a lot . not about him - but with him . by making fun of myself or telling him funny things that happen in my life .
when we're with my boyfriend , he automatically steps aside .
-edit- do you think he likes me?? or is it just another sister-brother thing or just a friend thing . if it's like that i'm fine with it . but if he likes me .. i think i'll really have to keep a distance from him from now on
