haha I kinda am like that too. Pet names are a little... neuh-ggi-hae...*shudder*
Answer:
I don't like that either.
It just feels weird and possibly embarrasing. Imagine your bf shouting 'baby/.honey. Sounds scary.
To me, there seems to be a fakeness, like trying to act close when the both of you are not that close.
Answer:
when they call me that, it feels soo cheesy hahahha
Answer:
I don't like being called BABY either.. It just doesn't sound like me. I don't mind sweety or honey... but babe or baby. no. =D I don't think there is anything wrong with it. You're okay!!
Answer:
i dont like mushy pet names but weirdly i think it sounds so cute when a guy calls me princess in koreanGongju not english 0___o
Answer:
hah dont worry, you're not the only one. I feel the same way as you too. I think its cheesy and shall i say gross? i rather my bf call me a loser or anything else. hahaha
Answer:
^ ahahahaha. that's why my bf and i call each other 'ugly'. ahaha
Answer:
I would say it and my friends would say it from time to time. Not on a constant basis. It's more like a joke to us when we say Hey babe, wat ya doing tonight ^_-
Answer:
duuude, hahah... this guy that had a crush on me a long time ago called me HONEY. i felt so awkward because i only considered him as a friend & he knew i wouldn't go out with him. ack, i was like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) . he was a persistent one.
this other guy and i liked each other, but we didn't get together because of something .. well anyway, i felt creeped out when he called me ba xa [wifey] and honey. i was like wth, we're not together, don't call me that. you'd think that i would be ok with it since we liked each other, but i was really set on not wanting a bf at the moment ... i didn't want to give him any ideas that i was ready for a bf, i was just trying to take things slowly.
now the current guy (we're not together ..yet, haha), he calls me baby sometimes and it makes me laugh. it's weird caz i don't really mind hearing it from him. i think he says it just to make me squirm and say 'eww, don't call me that'. i call him stupidhead or ugly. yeah, real romantic right there.
as for my [girl] friends, i don't mind them calling me names like honey, baby, babe, sweetie, or anything & i do the same to them. we're all comfortable with each other & we know that none of us are taking it seriously, so yeah.
Answer:
you're not weird. I don't like it either ROFL
for some reason... I find it disturbing and disgusting rofllll.
hahaa oh well.
Answer:
It's not weird. I'm like that too. Baby, honey, love, etc., those names just creep me out for some reason. My old bf would call me E (long story) and that was ok, so I don't mind nicknames, just those typical love names I guess. I dunno, I can't really explain it. ;p
Answer:
Hey don't worry, I'm a guy and I feel that way too. In fact, my ex girlfriend kept getting mad at me because I was always calling her hey you.
Answer:
I get uncomfortable as well, but in the end, I still like the attention. Heh.
