Answer:
I define true love as being unconditional love. You love someone with all your heart, you give yourself to that person 100% and expect NOTHING in return. If you love someone because they love you back, if you put your happiness in the hands or someone else and loves him/her because he/she makes you happy but hate them once they've hurt you, that's not love, you're just returning the favor. I equate that kind of love to deal making, where people benefit each other.
True love exists and so far, the most common source I find it in is a parents' love to their child. It's unconditional, a parent will always love his or her child no matter what. It doesn't matter how much disapointment, sorrow, worries and whatever hell the ungrateful brat brings to mom and dad, they will always love their child.
Until you (people) can reach this level of dedication and commitment, don't say you've found true love. Love can be put to test by time. You may feel like you're in love at the time being, but what about 5 or 10 or 50 years from now, will the feelings stay the same or will it wane? If the person you love hurts you, betrays you, brings you sorrow, anger etc, can you, will you still love him/her?

scientific studies prove that the hormone we have in our bodies that emits the feeling of being in love tires out after just a year. after that, you can carry on loving the person, but it starts lacking the in love qualities related to passion and constant emotional awareness.
Answer:
i've had it before..but i lost it. now im not sure if it really does exist...
won't true love last for a long time? ....
..
Answer:
I do. Why? Because everyone else around me says it doesn't exist, and with all this FWB and playing go on, I'm not surprised they'd think that.

maybe as we grow older and know more about real world..and the true love itself fades away? is this what u mean?
I do. Why? Because everyone else around me says it doesn't exist, and with all this FWB and playing go on, I'm not surprised they'd think that.

TRUE LOVE.
A feeling that conquers all, a feeling that never fails, yet always hurts. Love, a moment that lasts forever. Love is when you give but don't expect anything in return. Love is when all you want is for that one person to behappy, and nothing else matters. Love is when you could spend the rest of your lifetime in hell just to be with that person fo ranother second, minute or hour. Love is unconditional.
Answer:
