Question:
Would it be really bad if i said no?? Cuz if i don't go... He's not going to go. And it's his senior prom and i'd feel horrible if he didnt go cuz of me. He's liked me for quite some time now.. but i can only see him as a friend.
Proms really aren't my thing... i would hate it if he spent so much money on me if i wasn't going to enjoy it and stuff... Im really bad at saying no... so i dunno wat to do.
* edit *
i'm not a senior so it's not my last chance at prom..
Answer:
just go and tr to enjoy it. If he is your friend then you should go to prom with him since its what he wants. Its also his senior prom so relax, and try to have fun, even though it isn't your thing.
Answer:
i think you should go...
i mean...it's his senior prom...and its ONE night of your life.
And he actually asked you so that means that he thought that he would have the best time with YOU!
give it a go! and you never know...you might have fun! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Answer:
I'd go, as long as he's completely aware that you're going as his friend, and not his date.
Answer:
just go.. you never know.. it might be really fun
Answer:
Why not? What's wrong with going a friend?
Answer:
go and enjoy the day with him. =]
you guys can just go as friends.
Answer:
go but let him know that you only see him as a friend.
Answer:
just go...like you've said it's his senior year.
its not like he's asking you to be his girlfriend.
just say, sure i'll go with you as friends ^^*
Answer:
LOL...i'm in the same situation with a few people...I'm going 3 hours on a plane, that he's paying for, to go to HIS senior prom, cause it's HIS last year...so if i can do that, i'm sure you can do this too...
Answer:
Go, because you might actually have fun there. BUT tell him that you only see him as a friend because you don't want to give him any wrong intentions, or make him think you guys will have a chance to be together and then shatter his hopes.
Answer:
if you really don't like the prom then just don't go. noone's forcing you to.
Answer:
Go. Just make sure he knows that you two are going as friends.
Answer:
If he's REALLY your friend, then go, because you are both friends and you may enjoy yourself.
But if he thinks of you as a friend and you don't, then don't go.
I made that mistake last year. I had fun, yeah, but I led him on by accident. I thought he'd already gotten over me (since it'd been a year). Plus, it was awkward when I realized he still liked me and we were dancing at the time.
Answer:
He's your friend. Might as well go since this is his senior prom. You want him to hav ea good time there, so I think you should accompany him there. It won't be that bad.
Answer:
I'd go, as long as he's completely aware that you're going as his friend, and not his date.
^agreed. It won't hurt since it's only ONE night. Who knows? Maybe you'll enjoy yourself there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Good luck! (Whatever your decision is)

Answer:
If you care about your friend, go with him and MAKE sure he enjoys himself.
Dance! Ask Silly! Pull all the stops because I mean it's his last dance and it should be something he remembers for the rest of his life.
But if you really don't want to go then maybe introduce him to a nice girl? A girl that would be happy to go to Prom. =]
Answer:
prom isn't always for boyfriends and girlfriends, you can go as friends.
he probably will say oh we're only going as friends blah blah but deep inside he probably wants you...BAD. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif)
