In this day and age, it's not impossible to have both rather easily (if you have the education, that is).
Education gets you the job, and the job gets you the girl. Or guy.
But going for money is superficial.

That's a rather naive answer. Love, as many would say, is the most powerful force out there, but just because it's the most powerful doesn't mean it's all-powerful. My point? Love doesn't always win.
