Well, playing games is ok, but if that's all you ever do, then you're pretty boring. And if you're giving more attention to your games than to your gf, then that's not good. Show some attention to your gf to show that you care. Do something she wants to do, make her feel special. If she doesn't like playing games, then don't play games when she's around. And it really depends on what you mean by excessive. We all have our own opinions of excessive, you know? To me excessive means that he stays up until 5 AM playing WoW and I barely see a guy for dates or anything. To another girl, excessive might be 3 hours a day. I think we're all different. Personally, I like games myself so I wouldn't be picky about it. I think it's better for a guy to spend his time playing games than doing drugs.
awww i can't read replace 5 am with 8 am and that's me. my excessive playing is this: i have 2 60's and a 56 with multiple 20's. whenever i get a new game/new anything i play til i beat it such as kingdom hearts 2, i beat it in 3 days. i try not to play wow til the weebit late hours but it's hard

I had 90 days played on my NE hunter and 60 days on my UD priest... rofl. BEAT THAT! Highest I got was rank 11, stopped because BWL gear is a lot better and easier to get.
