You were at a party/dance or whatever, and you were supposededly the prettiest girl that night, according to most the guys, so some friends of yours, not best friends but just some girls you considered friends spread rumors
that you got rejected by most of the guys you asked to dance. Yet you asked NO guys at all, and you were NEVER rejected (how can you, if you didnt ask any guys to dance?)
and now someone that you greatly dislike, is laughing at you cause you got rejected..
WHAT would be your reaction?
is this something small that you should just let go?
How would you treat these friends that spread the rumors?
especially if they called you immature, unfair, and ridiculous for not just dropping the subject
what would you say to them? or just not talk to them at all?

Honestly, those girls can't possibly friends if they spread rumors.
For me, I would just drop the rumors. As long as I know it's not true than it's good for me. Really, rumors are just little things yet some people make a really big deal about it. Being rejected--so what? The world isn't going to end and I guess if the person I ask didn't want to then that's their problem.
As for my reaction, I'd ditch. I might feel like a loner but it's better to be by myself rather than hang out with people who would hurt me just to feel better about themselves. They may call me unfair, immature, etc., but I'd drop them. In the end, I would just ignore them unless they say sorry. And if they do say sorry, I'd forgive them but be aware of what they might do.
