i'll paint the situation......
theres boyA that's been been in a relationship with Girl for a few years. The relationship has had it's share of ups and downs and towards the end of the relationship the boyA did some hurtful things to the relationship. Girl still stuck around and kept trying to remold their relationship. eventually Girl has an epiphany and realises that the amount of effort she's putting into this relationship isn't amagamating into anything greater ... shortly after she meets boyB, who appears to be atleast better then the last person she was with.
boyA has his epiphany and realises he needs to change lots real fast.
what should boyA do?
is it too little, too late?

As unfair as it might seem, comparing A & B, A has to step it up and leave it all up to the girl to decide.

If Boy A has a lot of changes to make then perhaps they were never compatible to begin with. Breaking bad habits for the sake of a loved one is one thing. However, I think it's rather pointless and short-lived to attempt to change oneself. Furthermore, Boy A should just let the Girl be. Forcing himself on her might just open wounds no matter how much he changed.

I agree to some extent, but out curiosity.. L♥lita what did guy A do to mess up? In some aspects I think if guy A has messed up, and girl realizes the relationship isn't where it should be? Then why not give guy B a chance?

if it was me, i'd say that it was too late...you did the right thing to give boyA a chance but it's his fault he was too slow to realize he needs to grow up...but many boys become too spoiled to realize what a good thing they had going and they take advantage of that...
plus it'd be so unfair to boyB

I think boyA is a loser who didn't realize the good he had until it was gone. Now that he realizes that Girl probably moved on from him and found someone else that really makes her happy.. he realizes the gigantic mistake he made. BoyA is a loser. I don't think there's a right answer to this..there are three people involved and it really all depends on them. but I believe in second chances..so she should consider giving him another chance. if their relationship had lasted for so long, doesn't it mean something?
