Question:
Well, i'm in highschool. There's this black guy name Nathan in my class. Well, i hav 3 classes with him. I already had class with him last year, but for some reason I like him this year. He really surprised me!
he's:
-SMART; knows about busniess, real estate, and stocks---he's pretty set for the real world more than most high school guys
-Has sooo much confidence-he knows he can achieve anything if he tries
-is a mortgage consultant
-is nice, funny
-sociable, can chat with anyone....like a stranger and just smoooze
-not afraid to try for success
I see potential in him becoming a GREAT business man. Which is a turn on for me cuz i'm into business and considering majoring in that area. I like the fact the he's mature, and confident. I see who he is and the potential that he can become.
I want to be with him sooo much!!! It's soo hard to sit in 3 classes with him and not think about him!
BUT i just don't think we're made to be together. Cuz we're had classes before and barely talk to each other. I can't find anything to say to him besides I LIKE U!! We have similar interests like what we want to do in life.
But personality wise...welll.....
I'm: kinda shy, he's very out going
-not as confident in my abilities, he's full of confidence
-can't talk to people as easily
We're pretty oppisite in personality.
I just love who he is, and how he represents himself. But maybe our personalitie are just too different for anything to happen.

I'm afraid to try, and get hurt. But i feel sad that I might let something soo good slip away.

Edit: I'll see if we can just be friend first. If i can just be friends with him, then that's cool. BUt if we can be more than that then AWSOME....hahha
About the Mortgage Consultant part.....it took him about 20 applications, but he finally got the job. He kept at it, and he got it. They kept rejecting him cuz of his age. BUt he's very knowledgeable in that area.
I think there might hav been a little misunderstanding in some of the replies.
1- i'm not a stalker. I've known him for about 1 year and half....so he's not something new. I just started liking him this year.
2- I'm not a gold-digger. I like his personality and maturity, and potenitals.

He's loud and outgoing and I'm the shy one....there's nothing wrong with that.
Ya'll already have something in common....BUSINESS.....ask him questions you already know the answer to...just to start up convo.....ask him what the homework was......and small stuff like that....then just say hi to him in the hallways.....basically all this just to get him to notice you. How do you know if that you two won't work? Don't just run up and say, I LIKE YOU!, it might scare him and there went you chance. You're both into business; why not strike up a conversation like, what kind of stocks are you invested in? or, So, what are your career goals? If he's really passionate about that subject, then he'll more than likely answer the question and boom --- a conversation.
Don't worry about differences in cultures. I do not know why Asians tend worry so much about this, but when it comes to different cultures and relationships, it will work itself out when the both of you work together. You have to actually date the guy first to run into problems.
