Question:
I was wondering if a Filipina will marry a guy that isnt religious and is not a Christian?
because I like Filipinas but Im not Christian (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)
Answer:
I don't think so. It just pretty much depends on the girl's preference and I dont think religion should stop a person from loving or marrying another person who isn't christian or religious or whatever religion there is.
My one friend's boyfriend is Buddhist and she's filipina.
Eh. yeah - -'v
This is coming from a Filipina too. Though I will say that the last two guys that I've had crushes on.. were both Christian. One was... actually somewhat hardcore and the other, wasn't really? I'm not sure... He just started saying that he was like me, cuz I'm Catholic but I attend Christian churches, and he's just.. blehh...
If I were to marry a guy.. I wouldn't mind if he was Christian or not. As long as he has a faith to believe in.. and isn't the scary hardcore ones that I see on tv or that I know in my school T___T;; I dont know.. it scares me T.T;;
I don't make sense when I lack sleep. wtf.

Answer:
HAHAHAHA i'm down!
i don't see why filipinos wouldn't marry out of christianity, it's not a big deal haha
well, at least MY family doesn't throw a fit out of marrying people that arent' catholic haha
Answer:
the traditional/non-traditional filipinos prefer to marry catholics bcoz they don't want to get divorce (divorce is not allowed in catholics). religion is part of the culture(what culture? lol). but if we marry non-catholics, its still OKAY. nobodies gonna get disowned or anything. but usually THEY WANT YOUR KIDS TO BE CATHOLIC and they'll drag you to attend church anyways especially if there are big celebrations. haha.....
Answer:
because someday I was thinking of marrying a girl from the Philippines and bringing her back here to the USA
Answer:
I'm a filipina and I'm catholic.
I guess some filipinos wouldn't mind their daughter marrying a non-christian.
But it usually depends on the family. So yeah.
Answer:
i don't think it's a problem. my friend married a vietnamese and her parents are hard core Catholic. of course they had to include both religions and culture into their wedding...

Answer:
hahaha philippines is so diverse when it comes to race, religion, culture and all that. However, there are alot of conservative parents regards to religion.
My dad is Protestant
mom is Catholic
odd coupling but it worked out fine.
Answer:
mm.. like everyone said it depends on your parents... or more.. likely it depends on your taste whether you want a christian or not.
my parents are an odd-coupling too
my mom is a catholic
my dad is a protestant as well..
but everything works out fine...because my mom and dad will always consider what the other side wants
on formal events (weddings & deaths).
my parents had already predicted that I'm going to marry someone probably
not only out of religion... but out of race as well... hehehe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sweatingbullets.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sweatingbullets.gif)
