Question:
my good friend's good friend (confusing?) is having a bday party and i got invited. thing is, im not sure what i should get her, since ive only met her twice (but we get along well). i dont want to rock up with nothing, but i cant think of what to get her!
i mean, it shouldnt be too extravagant because we're just distant friends, but it shouldnt be too crappy aswell!
any suggestions? n______________n;;;;
Answer:
get her a nice box of chocolates....
that should be enough
Answer:
get her a popular clothing store's gift card....that's like the default gift for someone (esp girls) that you dont know....
Answer:
socks.
No one can have enough socks.
If one of my best friends got me socks for my birthday, I'd be pretty happy. I'm running out ._.
Answer:
^ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) you serious? If my best friend got me socks, I'd think she didn't have enough time to buy me a present, so her mother got it or that she didn't put any effort in at all, but I guess if you're running out your bff would knows best..?
Ask your friend, not the birthday girl one, but the one you're close to, what she thinks the birhday girl would want. I'm sure your close friend would know what the birthday girl would like the best since they're close. Or you could always go with general things if you know the type of personality she has. General -- chocolate, gift cards.
Answer:
You could always give her money or a pre-paid credit card ( usually sold in SafeWay's ) so, that way you don't really have to worry about how bad or good your present is and the person can choose whatever they want. Or, you could just ask your best friend what your distant friend likes ? - Shrugs - =s
I'd go with the money/pre-paid creditcard idea though because, since she's a distant friend you might accidentally buy her something she already has @_@
