I'm just curious to see how important people think that looks are when it comes to liking somebody. The question just popped into my mind when I was browsing this section.
For me, to tell the truth, I'd say 50%. Because for some reason, I used to get attracted to people who weren't really known for their good looks. =_____+;; Not entirely unattractive though~ (:

Honestly, for me...it's 80% of the time. I may seem shallow, but if I'm not physically attracted to a person then I won't talk to them. (That's MOST of the time.) Their looks=THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT THEM.

I would say 50% also. Depends on who they are. I mean if it was a complete stranger, then looks would matter more versus a friend you have known for quite a bit because you know how they act and stuff.

I think looks matter, but it's not the most important. I have to at least look good with the person and they are not completely hideous -.-;; I sound so shallow. But I also think that if I really do grow to like them alot and something bad happened to them and they just didn't look so great anymore, then its okay because love looks.

i agree!! i talk to them first cus they are good looking then i start looking for their personality and if it sucks...then...they suck...its sort of bad to be shallow..but looks is the first think i notice..then its personality

of course looks matter, despite what people say. at first when i went out with my bf i kinda cared how he looked, like i would not let him cut his hair or w/e cuz he looked not as good with short hair. now i don't really care at all. after you're with someone for a long time and you guys love eachother, looks don't matter as much anymore :]
