that's Yi Gu (Lee Goo, Lee Koo, however you wanna romanize it). I believe he doesn't have any kids, so he's the last of the dynasty bloodline. But he's last known fooling around with some Japanese woman in Japan.
in Japan and Europe, the Monarchy has very limited roles in the gov't.

As far as I know, the Korean monarchy is no longer...well. It's a moot point, it's not like we're going to be like Japan or England so why even bring it up? _ I bet you the starter of this thread was reading Goong 궁 or something like this. I do know that the last DIRECT descendant was killed when Queen Min was executed by the Japanese.
Answer:
i never heard about goong.. o__O wads dat o__O
lol I just like to watch historical dramas and it would be cool to have a king with his red robe and such
Answer:
Through the introduction of the palace museum, the king of korea dont called themselves as king but called themselves as court official (君臣). They acknowledged china emperor as the king.
Therefore, in korea, no king/queen/emperor or empress.
Answer:
There was a king of Korea but he died a while ago
The Queen of Korea was actually from America or England, I can't remember (she was White.) but she recently died, that's why I know this information
they never bore an heir so there is no more royal family in Korea..

Sorry, maybe the term 'king' is not appropriately used here.
In korean history, there never was a king, although they ruled korea but they dont called themselves as king. They respected China Emperor therefore, they used another name to replace the word 'king'.
Any korean here please clarify.

No, there is. Infact there is even a Yi family counsel that has selected Yi Won after Yi Gu died.
