My parents want to buy me an 06 Fusion but I really want an 03 Mazda 6 for my birthday. I used to own an 01.
Though, I am planning to trade it in for an Audi a6 around this coming up winter, which is after my graduation.
Which one would you guys prefer?

I think they're close enough in price where you should just be able to ask for the 6. And I'm thinking about a new one, not a 03.

The Ford Fusion has been rated average 9/10 from most sites. The only thing that kept it from not being a 10/10 is mid-range torque.
