What Do Think About The Nissan 350 Z?

Question:
i've always wanted a Z and im still deciding if i wanna get it or not,
because once i get my license i might get one right away.
whats your opinion on it?
Answer:
sexy and fast
i test drove one, loved it however it's too sporty for me...i'll consider a car like this when i have enough money to manage 3 cars
no room in the back, i have a lot of equipment to carry and it won't fit in that small arse trunk
Answer:
the z is an ok car. not great, but not bad either. its not fast, its not slow. styling wise i dont think it looks pretty good, better than your average car. the chassis of the car is good though, really easy to drive to fast. i'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. however since you are 16 you do not have the driving ability or experience to handle a 300hp rwd car. 99% of 16 year olds are not responsible enough for a car like that (it helps you are a girl though). imo it would be irresponsible for your parents to buy that car as a first car for you.
Answer:
I love it... but its not practical for me. I like to have friends in the car sometimes so.. need back seats.. so for me, it'd be the G35.. but the 350z is nice.

get an evo or sti (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Answer:
~ my favorite car.
if you get an automatic though...I seriously hate people who get auto z's...such a waste T__T
it's a pretty good all around car, affordable, but doesn't really excel in anything, but performance can always be altered =]
ooh, the 07 has more power though! 306 hp under the new SAE rating, and 268 pounds per ft. of torque....and an ugly, ugly, hood.
Answer:
if you learn to how drive 6spd then get a Z , if not then get a EVO 8 I have seen in person it's good daily driver.

the evo is manual too....
Answer:
If you are just starting to drive I wouldnt recommend that as your first car. Likely you do not have enough experience for it and too much power for you . I personally like my Black G35 over the 350Z . since it has back seats for friends and a bit more space in the back.

isnt the evo manual only?
Answer:
Sweet first car, of course you are going to get a 350z, unless you can get something better? If you have the opportunity, take it! I wish my car was a 2 seater, but then again, no one can really fit in the back of my car.
Answer:
350z is a nice car. it's somewhat performance oriented but also condones a level of comfort for the average daily fat bastard.
the track/touring is a bit more expensive with brembo brakes and also intake and exhaust variable valve timing for a 300+ hp engine. it's not bad for the money as the car can roll 13 seconds quarter mile, if driven optimally. the only drawback is the 2 seater, crappy nissan paint and quality control (blame the french and renault for that). otherwise, if you can admire the puppy dog looks, above average performance and crappy build, you'll be a winner! the automatic versions are slightly detuned without the exhaust variable valve timing, however the car can hold a bit on its own in the performance department.
imho, if i had a choice in nissan's FM platform, i'd go with the all new g35 sedan. it's purrrrty.
Answer:
im loving my Z~~~
r u sure u can handle it though?
u can wait for the new Nissan Altima coupe~~~ decent car for a starter...
Answer:
initially i didn't like the look of the 350z but i guess you can say it grows on you.. but I hear people complaining about how it's pretty hard to see out the back and sides because of the design.
if i had the moolah to buy a new car i would get a 350z or an evo9. not very practical for me cause i'm not crazy rally racer or anything but i like them nonetheless. And about the evo being a good daily driver... i think in regards to gas mileage it has like one of the worst... rivaling the rx8, like less than 20mpg?
Answer:
Haha if you go get a 350z, make sure u take lessons or learn how to control a RWD car...I heard a lot of stories of people spinning out in the rain or just spinning out period.
Answer:
350z is a good car even though I perfer to get a g35 xD .....go learn how to drive a manual and get comfortable with the car. you will probably love the 350z (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
if you plan on driving friends i wouldnt get it

as long as you don't have a heavy foot and aware of the fact that the roads are slick you'll be fine.
Most of the models have a traction control system which might help, but i can't say for sure as i've only driven one so many times.
If you are going to get the 350Z, I would learn how to drive manual (if you already don't know how)
Maintaining the car and getting used to it would be top priority.
All in all, if you are going to drive around people, I would highly suggest getting the G35
Hope this info helped (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sweatingbullets.gif)
Answer:
Yeah, the 350Z is a very impractical car. Two seater, bad gas mileage. I like the power, handling, and the engine sound (not a fan of the styling) but you want to drive more than 1 person around some time.
Answer:
Meh I'm not a big fan, I don't like how it drones when you cruise on the highway and I feel blind when I drive it.
Answer:
