Question:
How much does it usually cost to get windows tinted?
I just got a new 2006 Corolla S (but the fact that it's an S shouldnt matter right?)
I scheduled to get my windows tinted on saturday.
They said its $225 for all around and then I said so-and-so referred me to them saying I would get a good deal and they were like, oh then $200...
but i dont know.. is that a decent price? Someone told me it should only be around $150-175..
What do you guys think? And what are your experiences with tinting windows??
Also my dad keeps trying to put on those small convex mirrors on my side mirrors...
does anyone else have them? my dad bought supposedly the best ones from gi joes but, they look a little tacky..
though i guess if they really do help a lot it should be worth it?

i like ur car its cute =] and no a type S wouldnt make it more expensive to tint ur windows, cuz ur windows still are the same size lol
i can get windows tinted allaround for about 1bill anything higher than 125 is too much for me. i guess its where u live?
and how dark are you going? if you wanted to be a safe/better driver doesnt tinting ur windows make seeing out of ur car a little bit harder. cuz my gf is the worlds suckiest crap driver ever and she has a ridiculous limo tint and knocks over trashcans like water bottles.
i would also just get a wider rearview mirror for fun cuz i guess ur blind spots will be easier to see and you wont always have to turn ur head around. after that get a mashimaro pillow headrest. it makes ur car go faster =D

and i got all 8 of my windows tinited for 180..
so i guess it just depends on where u live..
but it shuld be under 200...

oh..i live in oregon, where usually its cheaper or around the same price for most things...plus no tax! and i just want it tinted lightly in the front and medium in the back. i just hate having clear windows it makes me feel like my privacy is being invaded 24/7. haha.

I guess it depends on where you live. But if you live in so cal, more specifically Garden Grove, or around that area, then I know a good place. I have a Honda Civic Coupe and that was $130 for all 5 windows. My mom got her Mercedes done and that was only $175ish. So your Corolla is probably around my price range.

Your paying way to much...I had a 05 Civic Si and paid $20 for window tint+head unit installation. It was at my friends shop tho....I remember he charges $20 per window...

i think it all depends on where you live. around my area most tint shops charge around 180 to 240. but once you get into the maryland area they start getting cheaper around 150ish area. got my 01 maxima 35% on the sides and 20% for rear window

i live about 15 minutes away from los angeles and i got all five of my windows tinted with limo tint for $125.
try to bargain with them and you will be able to bring the price down. just remember that they're trying to make as much profit as they can.
