Story
Basically, as the sequal to Namco's Katamari Damacy [http://www.namco.com/games/katamari_damacy] (09/21/04), The King of All Cosmos is back to turn more katamaris (balls of objects collected on Earth) into stars to fill the sky. He enlists the Prince and his cousins to help.
Concept
You play the Prince and go around Earth rolling up objects (everything from candy, animals, to buildings) which the King of All Cosmos makes into stars to fill the sky. This game also improves upon the first by adding more areas to roll for 2-player competitions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
In the first game, The King of All Cosmos accidently destroyed all the stars in the sky, so he orders the prince (that's you) to go back to Earth to make katamaries which he turns into stars to make the constilations.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I can't believe there's not a thread for this game already, BOTH of them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I haven't played this one, but I will be buying it soon so I can fill my Spring Break. The concept is so simple for this game, it's almost genius (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It sounds easy, but you have to make increasingly larger katamaries within a certain time limit, so, a fun challenge. If you get the first game however... you can unlock the eternal levels which have no time or size limit.
there are 3 of them in the game, and they are a BLAST
the hard part for most is just unlocking them, you need to get big enough b4 the end of the level, and if you got it, you will see angels flying around you... totally worth the effort, though the levels arent as expansive as this one. Still fun tho

eh i got the first game as a gift and i only played it once and now it's collecting dust. i don't find myself liking anything about it...it's basically a game about a lint-roller. lol, i guess some people find that appealing.

I let my friend's roommate play Katamari Damacy one night, where we all took turns playing it, and this week, he had no work to do, so he borrowed it and beat it in a few hours...crazy fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
