Question:
A local discounter received a decent shipment (about 50 pieces) of my favorite designer (Missoni). The weird part is that every single piece is size 50eu. Can anyone explain why that is? It's annoying because they had all this great stuff and needless to say none of it is my size.
Answer:
Samples.
Typical Sample is 40 US or 50 Italian.
Answer:
Damn. I guess this means there won't be a follow-up shipment of all 54.:(
Answer:
Yeah, that's pretty much standard. I know a discount store that only stocks medium/US40/EU50 and size 8/9/42 shoes and nothing else. Nice stuff too, although I'm suspicious after the owner tried to sell me a questionable Viktor & Rolf military jacket..
It's pretty much the same the world over. How else do you think they get in-season high end labels at those prices?
